High speed lines in Europe
presentation
High-speed train in Europe becomes a popular and efficient means of transport, The first high-speed rail lines in Europe were built in the 80s and 90s, improving journey times over intra-national hallways.
Since then, some countries have established extensive high-speed networks and there are currently several cross-border high-speed rail lines.
Railway operators often manage international administrations and tracks are constantly built and modernized with international standards on an emerging European high-speed rail network.
In 2007, a consortium of European rail operators, Railteam, concluded a coordinated and improved cross-border high-speed rail journey.
The development of the trans-European high-speed rail network is the stated objective of the European Union, and most cross-border rail lines receive EU funding.
Several countries - France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Russia and the United Kingdom - are connected to the high-speed border network.
Others are expected to be online in the coming years. Europe will invest massively in burrows, bridges and other infrastructure and development projects on the landmass, many of which are under development.
Alstom was the chief manufacturer to design and deliver a high-speed train or HS-train, which took off with the TGV in France.
Currently, there are a number of high level manufacturers of HSR origination and development in Europe, partnerships and cross partnerships, including the Canadian company Bombardier, Alstom itself, the Spanish Talgo and the German Siemens.
The 1st national high-speed rail network
The first high-speed rail lines and administrations were built in the 1980s and 1990s as national projects. Countries have sought to increase the number of passengers and reduce travel time on inter-city races within their borders.
At the start of the line were built into the framework of national managed programs and national funding administrations of national operators.

Europe was introduced into the high-speed railways when the LGV Sud-Est from Paris to Lyon was inaugurated in 1981 and the TGV started passenger administration.
Since then, France has continued to build an extensive network, with lines running in all headings from Paris.
France has the second high-speed network in Europe, with 2,647 km of HSR lines operational in July 2017, only 3,240 km in Spain.
The TGV network has gradually extended to other cities, as well as to other countries such as Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Due to the early adoption of high speed train and an important place in France (between the Iberian Peninsula, the British Isles and Central Europe), most of the other dedicated high speed rail lines in Europe have been built to the same speed, pressure and signaling standards.
The most obvious exception is the high-speed line in Germany, which is built to existing German railway standards.
In addition, many high-speed administrations, including the TGV and the ICE, use existing rail lines in addition to those designed for high-speed railways.
For this reason, and also because of different national standards, trains crossing national borders must have special characteristics, such as the ability to handle various power supplies and signaling systems.
This means that not all TGV are the same, and there are considerations of size and signal.
Britain

The United Kingdom has a history of high-speed railways, starting with the first high-speed steam systems: examples of GWR 3700 class 3440 Truro city engines and record pair LNER A4 4468 Mallard.
Also later, high speed diesel and electric administrations were introduced using modernized main lines, mainly the Great Western Main Line (GWML) and the East Coast Mainline.
